Food Distribution


Each day, our driver goes to the local merchants with whom we have an agreement, to pick-up food that was left to our disposition. Volunteers sort the food to be distributed. The clients can come twice per week to get fruits, vegetables, bread and desserts. On the 3rd week of the month, we hand out a bag of non-perishable items along with milk and ground beef.

661 families for a total of 1530 persons including 431 children under the age of 12 registered at the Distribution Centre for food donations.

Single parent family: 26%
Both parents: 21%
Couples with no children: 13%
Single : 40%

7923 bags of groceries were distributed for a total amount of $480,860.
